Night Tennis Miami update

by

I may have spoken too soon. It turns out that there might be some merit to this whole Night Tennis Miami business. Tournament organizers have scheduled five fashion shows with Fila, Roberto Cavalli, Diane von Furstenberg, Etro, and Village of Merrick Park (a local mall). Cavalli, DVF, and Etro will all take from previous collections (click on the thumbnails to see them). Take a looksies:

Roberto Cavalli: “…inspired by the colors of Mexico and the paintings of Frida Kahlo.”

Diane von Furstenberg: “(Her collection) All About Eve celebrates the birth of femininity with bold, brave colors and loose silhouettes.”

Etro (women’s): “The… collection highlights a world of ‘flower power’ full of optimism, color and nostalgia for the future.”

Etro (men’s): “…the Etro man sets sail and is taken to an imaginary island as he sails the waves of the soul. A nautical color palette is highlighted with exotic floral summer prints.”

I don’t know what the mall is doing, but here’s their website if you want to poke around.

And I can’t find the goods to be paraded at the Fila fashion show (“the Official footwear and apparel supplier of the Pacific Life Open“), but they’ve got some cool stuff, like this awesome sweater:

One has nothing to do with the other. One is a fashion show, while the other is a trance event. It’s all part of Sony Ericsson’s work with IMG to make SEO “classy”.
