Lacoste played it safe with their monopoly of the men’s quarterfinal between Richard Gasquet and Andy Roddick. Nothing exciting about either of the players’ outfits at all (save for that logo cap of Roddick’s). I know that Andy probably can’t be bothered with accessorizing a la Federer, but what about Richard? You could build a whole look around that tussled hair of his.

Perhaps the company maxed itself out with the publicity from Tatiana Golovin‘s red knickers earlier this week?

fashion focus: one last look at roger

July 7, 2007

Light posting today… I’ll be at the beach. Besides, we’re all going to be glued to NBC watching the men’s semis, right? (Congrats, Venus!)

So I’ve found more detail photos for Roger‘s Nike Wimbledon kit, via Eugene Kan at Hypebeast.

That blazer looks itchy. God bless lining.

And another version of his golden shoe — but with purple Swiss flags this time — after the cut.
