Are we the only ones who’ve noticed the recent wacky taping that’s gone on in the last few months?
Maria Sharapova, center, wore simple pink during the Acura Classic in San Diego this July; Serena Williams‘ legs looked like Humpty Dumpty at the Year-End Championships in Madrid (she pulled out in her first round match against Anna Chakvetadze); and Hsieh Su-wei, left, wore a blue “V” for victory after securing Taiwan’s spot in the 2008 Hopman Cup.

The kinesio tape comes in different colors for different “strengths”–black is waterproof, too. Not a fashion statement.
