yellowballin’ shows us whites, limes, and colors of the rainbow

Belgian Yanina Wickmayer (above, left) didn’t make it past the first round of the ASB Classic — losing to the hyped Tamira Paszek 6-7 (7), 1-6 in the first round — but at least she went out in style, reviving this rainbow-striped top and skirt from Le Coq Sportif. This same outfit was worn by Marion Bartoli in her pre-Nike days.

The wires had no photos of Wickmayer (likely because all lenses were on Paszek), so thanks to RC at Yellowballin’ for telling us about her fun look. He also pointed out that Kirilenko didn’t debut her spring 2008 adidas gear just yet, instead reviving the white/lime combo from this past fall.

At least until we see Sharapova‘s pleated dress at the Australian, Yanina’s is in the running for “best so far” this year.
