As we learned from FierceTennis over the weekend, the ladies of the SEWTA love to play dress-up on tour. In Linz last week, the ladies got traditional in Austrian dirndls (dresses) for a lead-up event prior to the tournament. Meanwhile, on the eastern side of the globe in Osaka, the fashion was a bit more subdued in the form of a simple accessory: the flower pin.

Check out all the fashion after the jump. And you tell us: who wore it best?

From left to right: Samantha Stosur, Akiko Morigami, Kimko Date Krumm, Francesca Schiavone, Caroline Wozniacki, Ayumi Morita and Marion Bartoli sport a fashionable flower in Osaka last week.

Dressed in dirndls: Timea Bacsinszky, Flavia Pennetta and Ioana Raluca Olaru and Yanina Wickmayer, Tamira Paszek and Aravane Rezai below.

So, who do you think wore it best?

Poor players – they all look quite uncomfortable in their unflattering, terrible costumes! I vote for Caroline Wozniacki, who wisely chose a black dress…

I actually think Flavia and Ioana look pretty cute!
