practice makes perfect: the men get ready for the quarterfinals

The men are set up for their quarterfinal match-ups at this year’s Wimbledon; the final eight still include the top four seeds. (Draw: Men’s Singles.) See their practice pics after the cut…

Federer and the pesky Berdych (not pictured) will square off after beating Melzer and Brands, respectively.

Nole, who brushed off Lleyton Hewitt, will play Roddick-upsetter Yen-Hsun Lu (not pictured) in the other top-half quarterfinal.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga emerged victorious in the all-French battle (vs. Julien Benneteau); he’ll face Andy Murray, who made quick work of the hard-serving Sam Querrey.

And in the final quarter, Rafael Nadal took out Paul-Henri Mathieu in straight sets to set up another match against Robin Soderling. The Swede needed five sets to fend off Spaniard David Ferrer.
