Julia Goerges became the first German finalist at the WTA stop in Stuttgart since Anke Huber (!!) got there in 1996. She upset Sam Stosur 6-4 3-6 7-5 to book a spot in the final against Caro Wozniacki.

Also of note is how cute she looks as a Nike mascot in the tank version of the current Maria Sharapova collection — that teal tank is part of the same line as the gold-trimmed dress on Masha herself. Yes, we said tank because that skirt is non grata in our book; looks like something Alexis Mateo would’ve dreamed up on this season’s run of “Rupaul’s Drag Race,” no?
