sharapova’s new nike print ad

by

Nike ads promoting their women’s spring collection ask the question: “What does your workout add up to?”

The foldouts — appearing in Allure, Cosmopolitan, Fitness, Glamour, InStyle, Lucky, Marie Claire, and Shape — feature four athletes (runner, boxer, dancer, tennis player), of whom only Maria Sharapova is recognizable.

Ad text: “65,000 serves ago I was a beginner. What they call ‘killer instinct’ only gets you so far. After that, it’s running ’til your legs want to cry, serving ’til your arm falls off and then doing it again tomorrow. Bring that to your workout four hours a day, six days a week for 15 years and I’ll look for you in the finals.”
