Creative director Christophe Lemaire chose a leaf-strewn catwalk — with a yellow Citroen on one end, no less — to present his fall/winter line for Lacoste (clothing sponsor of Andy Roddick, Tatiana Golovin, Arnaud Clement, and others). The collection’s full of “precise, refined, and luxurious” basics for both young and old, but got a little too Gallic for style.com.

I like the description “over-Frenchfied” by style.com. But I think the berets are cute and stripes are always fun. I’d totally wear them. I love that giant brown bag.
