venus receives diamond-encrusted tennis ball

Venus Williams - Wimbledon jewellery

That diamond-encrusted tennis ball, designed by Gitanjali Gems to help launch Wimbledon’s jewelry line, was presented to Venus Williams by Jewelery Marketing Company CEO Nehal Modi last Wednesday, Nov. 14, in New York City.

In case you’re keeping count, there are 4,300 diamonds on that thing!

(And in case you’re keeping track, Venus was also in town to launch her Steve & Barry’s clothing line, EleVen, with a party and a press conference.)

Venus just knows how to look good and dress right for the occasion. Classy lass. Here’s hoping she’s healthy to win more than one Slam next year. She’s unstoppable when in the zone.

  2. Hako Says:

I really like Venus, and have always admired her fighting spirit. That said, there is one person that can beat Venus, even when she’s in the zone…..Justine.

  3. Richard Says:

I don’t think anyone can beat Venus when she’s in the zone at Wimbledon. Hence, Marion Bartoli just saved Justine another heartbreaking Wimbledon finals loss this year. Oh, and I love Venus. Always been my favorite female, though Jankovic is really up there as well.

  4. dance-a-vic Says:

It’s interesting how Venus has managed to endear herself to fans. Cuz’ homegirl topped the TSL (Tennis Sh*t List) not too long ago. I think that comes with age and strife.

Venus is a great tennis player. And if he bear a diamond jewelery its nice to see him.

Thanks for such a memorable information…
