Gramercy Park just got a lot more exciting with Real Estalker reporting that the future Mr. and Mrs. Andy Roddick have purchased a tiny 1-bed 1-bath loft in the neighborhood. (Well, it’s technically under Andy’s name, but we’re not going to split hairs.)
The pad on East 22nd Street, listed at a little under $1.2 million, is a converted brewery.

I figured the quick engagement had something to do with some conditions – either convincing her to sleep with him, travel with him and/or move in with him.
For compensation in putting up with him she should at least have her name on the apartment too. Hope she does.

I’d say they’re doing all right, if this win versus Fed is any indicator. Roddick maintained to the press that being happy and content in his life is only going to free him up for great things on the court. Time will tell.
